In October 2019, there was a survey asking whether Raptisoft fans wanted John to work on another game or Hamsterball. Raptisoft will use their own level sharing servers, like the ones in Hoggy 2 and Robot Wants Kitty (mobile port), two of Raptisoft's other games, in which you can 'like' and 'dislike' levels, flag them for inappropriate content, and add stars to levels to give them more publicity.

To upload a level to the servers from the editor, it will be alot like Super Mario Maker, where you have to complete it yourself to upload it.

The game will have a level editor akin to something like Minecraft and Super Mario Maker, where you place specified blocks onto a landscape, like Toobs, roads, obstacles, enemies, etc., and then you can warp and shape them to your liking, for example as Raptisoft states, "you can place a long straight path and add a spiral warp-style to it", and can also just move vertices and faces around. According to a forum post that has been answered by Raptisoft themselves, it will be planned to be released after Raptisoft is done with the other games, and it will be released on (hopefully) all major game sharing sites, examples include WildTangent, Steam, and Origin. During this mode of play, "Rodent Rumble", the goal is to knock opponents' hamsters off the edge or into lethal obstacles as many times as possible within a time limit.HamsterBall 2 will be the sequel to the first game. A set amount of extra time is added to the player's clock at the beginning of each race if time runs out, the game ends.īy following invisible paths on the courses, players can unlock appropriately themed multiplayer combat arenas. If the hamster falls too far, rolls off the course, or is destroyed by an obstacle, a new one is placed on the course after a short delay.

A short fall causes the hamster to become dizzy and hard to control for a short time.

Instead of a marble, however, the player controls a hamster in a clear plastic exercise ball. Similar to the arcade game Marble Madness, the goal is to complete a series of 15 race courses in as short a time as possible while avoiding various obstacles. The TikGames PlayStation version was created on 25 March 2010. Hamsterball is a video game developed by Raptisoft Games, released on 8 February 2004 for Microsoft Windows.
